Or they interview with Endeavor and AA wholly owned and choose the AA. PSA is having classes of 26 and 33 in November.

Interviews and applications don't always mean new hires.

- How senior is DTW?
- Pros/cons of DTW?
- How long should a noob expect to be on reserve in DTW?
- Does Endeavor allow prior mil guys to upgrade with 500 hrs Part 121 IAW 121.436(3)(c)?

Thanks fellas!

Cheers!
DTW is senior. If you come to Endeavor plan on NYC - you may not see DTW for a year, but no one really knows how long it will take because you don't know how many in NYC senior to you would want DTW. Endeavor has a 1000 company time for upgrade so you need that before upgrading. It has been lowered to as low as mid 300s but now it is pretty much 1000 because new hires from 15 are qualifying for upgrade. Bottom line - don't plan on upgrading out of seniority unless we get new aircraft and don't plan on DTW for awhile.

I've had two people I've given referrals in the last month go to the AA WOs instead of us.

Do you blame them??? It's looking more and more like only lifers get MSP and DTW (and it won't take long for the FO side to go that route as the SSP plays out) then it's all NY all the time and at best it's been a coin flip to Delta compared to a guarantee to American.... Pay has been kept close back and forth.... You'd have to have a heck of a hard on for the few Delta bases that don't overlap American to roll those dice, as American actually has better retirement numbers than Delta.

Looks like they found the missing FA. No other details besides the fact that he is now safe.

I'm a July hire. They started giving everyone NYC back then. I just picked up DTW on the last vacancy bid. You'll potentially be in a better position to get DTW quicker since NYC is getting close to being staffed up, but you'll sit reserve for a while in DTW so if you don't live in the area then I recommend NYC (JFK at the moment) for holding a line very quickly. One guy in my class didn't sit a single day of reserve in JFK.
