While we're discussing a pay rate vs. a bonus, let's not forget that new hires get more now than a few months ago, meaning to remain equal to what they are getting now (which is still less than the AA WOs by a fair amount), we would have to receive an hourly increase of $33.33 just to match a new hire's first year salary today.

Even Go Jets is paying more than $63.33 at $67.39 an hour.

If you want 25.56. it's a pay raise for you, and an even bigger pay raise for those of us who commute and ***** out for the 200% or whatever we are being charecterized as now. Doesn't matter how obstinate you wish to be. Both sides agree on the numbers.

A pay raise isnt on the table. If you want the bonus fine. They probably extend those bonuses after they expire if the classes start emptying out. That may not be realistic. Delta has showed over and over again theyll try crashing this place into the ground and yank it up last minute no matter how insane it seems.

I think they enjoy it, but neither of us will be here to watch.

Anyway, hope it all works out. For the good of the majority of pilots at the company, not the majority on apc, take the rates. If youve decided to never pick up and not commute to get off reserve, fine, but that isn't most pilots here.

Im pretty sure the GoJet $67.39 is for year 1 DEC Captains, not FO new hires. Although, I get the point you're making overall, and it's very valid.

Thanks. I happened to see a Go Jet ad on here as I was reading all the back-and-forth about pay increases, and posted. Didn't realize that was DEC pay.

I wonder what PDT FYFO pay is with profit sharing and per diem added in?

Profit sharing and especially per diem should never be included in salary calculations.

XI agree. But they ARE income. Just not guaranteed. But with them, one will make more than $60K as a FYFO. But to keep it on a level field, his statement that no regional pays more than $60K FYFO is true. But even at that level, they are paying more than EDV is now. Which is great for them, and hopefully gets factored into whatever pay rate we end up getting here.

Kind of like flight benefits, which are hard to nail down to a $$ amount, but I know that I save a LOT of money using them. Or to put it another way, I am able to do things and go places that otherwise I would be unable to without said flight bennies.
