I hope this is a joke. Let me know the next time you can call crew scheduling and drop 4 legs off your trip just because you want to. I'll give you my next retention bonus...

Well i was speaking in a slightly different situation: asking for alternate deadheads to something other than home (for vacation) or switching an early deadhead to the night before to allow for a longer overnight/later show, etc.

But yeah if you could release me from those last 4 legs that'd be grrreaat..

Anybody know if the training department observes Martin Luther King Jr. day? Classes held on that day?

My class last February started a day later because HR wasn't in the office for MLK day. But I don't know if the whole training department does

Sims don't observe it. I doubt ground school does too. Unless it's day 1 like Taco had.

Anyone heard when the first 200s are arriving and what base they will be going to for flying? Maybe DTW or MSP might get growth. Thanks in advance for any info.

I would imagine that we would need to hire (which I think they have) a new Fleet and Standards manager who would then have to develop a project for transfer and acceptance of those aircraft onto our certificate. Could take a while.

If the reserve grid is green, you can drop legs off the end of your trip. I did it summer of 2015 a couple times to improve my commute. Once I did it by calling the scheduling that morning and they pushed it through, the other time I put the drop in Flica the day before (ish) and they dropped it.

You can expect that DTW and MSP won't see any growth for a while. The 90% of the 200's are probably going to New York.

Hi all,

I am a little torn between republic and endeavor, and was hoping a few of you could clarify some issues for me... as some context, if all goes well, my class date would be in april (ish)
- how is the overall moral of the company? within pilots as well as with management (I ask because among most of the regional forums, this is the only one that doesn't seem to consistently revert into a complain hotline, which is awesome)
- how long is training and IOE taking? Most regionals have started sending new hires home for a few weeks to a couple months after training for lack of check captains... has that started happening yet?
- any idea how long until new hires are holding a line? (200 and 900?) I'm assuming most will get sent to New York, but ideally I would eventually like to make my way to MSP or even DTW... Any chance of that happening relatively quickly? would they laugh at me if I asked for it right off the bat?
- how long are your flights on average? 200 & 900, and how many a day do you tend to average?
- finally, how long is upgrade to captain taking? I heard 18 months but it seems to be increasing...

anyways, thanks in advance, any info or opinions (positive or negative) would be great
