New message on CrewTrack this morning. If you are DTW based and use the AOA lot and shuttles we will no longer be able to use those starting on 1 January. Delta has been the one paying for their pilots and DCI to use those screening points and decided to pull the plug.
We will only be able to park in the non AOA lot and use the non AOA shuttle now. SIDA badges will not let us into the AOA bus stops after Dec 31st.

Hi all,
I am a little torn between republic and endeavor, and was hoping a few of you could clarify some issues for me... as some context, if all goes well, my class date would be in april (ish)
- how is the overall moral of the company? within pilots as well as with management (I ask because among most of the regional forums, this is the only one that doesn't seem to consistently revert into a complain hotline, which is awesome)
- how long is training and IOE taking? Most regionals have started sending new hires home for a few weeks to a couple months after training for lack of check captains... has that started happening yet?
- any idea how long until new hires are holding a line? (200 and 900?) I'm assuming most will get sent to New York, but ideally I would eventually like to make my way to MSP or even DTW... Any chance of that happening relatively quickly? would they laugh at me if I asked for it right off the bat?
- how long are your flights on average? 200 & 900, and how many a day do you tend to average?
- finally, how long is upgrade to captain taking? I heard 18 months but it seems to be increasing...
anyways, thanks in advance, any info or opinions (positive or negative) would be great

Moral is great overall. Even those who wish to leave admit its a good place to work.
Training footprint is 90 days for initial. It's rock and roll with little time off.
Msp and dtw probably isnt a reality for you as a line holder if you wish to upgrade. I am sorry. At some point we may have a southern base.
The 900 is better flying than the 200, but as pilots leave the 2 for the 9 youll probably find lots of open time.
Con: at some point the 200s will go away. Probably whenever oil hits 100 a barrel. Theres a reason endeavor will be doing the majority of the 200 flying for delta. Delta wont promise any long term contracts for the 200. Youll be flying other regionals scraps, but youll do it for the highest wage in the industry.

I'll start off by saying I would not work for a bankrupt airline if I were you. In fact I interviewed at Republic and got a CJO about a week before they declared bankruptcy.
The overall moral is great. Apart from a few negative attitudes 95% of the pilot base loves to work here. Sure everyone has gripes but Endeavor is a great place to work. I was surprised at how welcoming everyone was from the first day of indoc all the way through to today.
Ground training takes 4 weeks. 1 for indoc, 1 for gen subs, and 2 for systems. Depending on the airplane your FTD's and sims will take another 1-2 months to complete depending on availability. I got done with ground school, FTD's, and sims in 11 weeks. OE took 5 days to complete.
Right now NYC based 200 pilots are getting lines very shortly if not immediately after OE. 900 NYC takes about 1-2 months by the looks of it. DTW and MSP 900/200 have stalled and progression is very slow. I switched to the 900 in DTW because I lost my line on the 200. Right now everyone out of the school house is getting sent to NYC. You will get to bid for base in the first week of ground school but only for the bases they offer.... which will be NYC for the foreseeable future. Recent vacancies have a few spots here and there for DTW but I have not seen any spots open up at MSP.
200 avg flight time is between 45-75 minutes. 900 avg flight time is 1-2 hrs. 900 will see more block time during the day but the 200 will see more legs. Trips are much more efficient on the 900.
If you have 121 time then upgrade can be very fast. I know guys that got out of OE and upgraded to Captain in NYC on the next vacancy. A lot of return to work guys are doing that. 9E management will wave or reduce the company 1000 hour requirement as long as you meet the 1000hrs 121/135/91k time. They can wave the company limitation but there is no way around the FARs.
Overall I was a corporate guy flying for a part 91 operations and did some contract work in the sand pit before I came to Endeavor. I am very happy here and I feel this is a great place to get your 121 start before moving onto the major leagues.

- No long wait for sims/OE. You might get a week off. From day 1 of training to day 1 of OE, plan 2 months. You'll get paid guarantee over that time and you'll be given positive space tickets to go home and come back on the weekends in training.
- reserve times are quick in New York (right around a month), Minneapolis and Detroit are stagnant for the time being.
- Plan on being assigned JFK or LGA. Plan on being out there for a while. A new southern base and more 200s could help with movement, but just plan for NY.
- average legs on the 200 are :30-1:00. The 900 ranges from :30-over 3 hours. I did a 4.9hr leg on the 900 recently with insane headwinds.
-Upgrade times right now are crazy quick to those with the 1000 hr 121 requirement. If you are coming in with no 121 time, plan on 18-24 months.
Edv is a good place to gain experience Or to stay. PM me if you have any other questions.

Google Endeavor flight attendant hiring. We have recruitment for FAs in of course New York, but also Raleigh, Tampa, Atlanta; http://www.endeavorair.com/events#fa
We don't like commuting FAs. You do the math on what that means for a new base.
Oh, and our morals are fine. So is our morale.

And Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and DC too. Wow we must really be expanding based on recruiting events for FA's.
