This is what mainline has and is a huge QOL boost. But, like Farmlover said, it only works when seniority is honored. Our call out sequence is around 25 steps long and highly specific so any language on this subject must be precise. And this reserve pickup system is called a yellowing slip and will be considered at the earliest the day before a pilot goes on reserve.
To add, this is big for commuters since we can have a chance to get a later show or even a later SC start time the first day of reserve.

I would like to see long call and short call only. Get rid of ready reserve, they never call you. As far as picking things up from OT while you're on RSV and it's one of your days on, I say NO. Because it depletes OT for lineholders to pickup stuff from an already weak OT pot. It frustrated me too while I was on RSV but it's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Agreed. I never had this problem in the 900. Now I know why some guys have a towel they put on their shoulders first.
