You said entitled millennials, not I. I simply said a different pilot group. Not everyone hired today is a millennial. Many are go-getters.

Look for it when the rates come out. Do the math. No one should be taking a cut right now even despite the history of this company.
Please show where they said that clear as day. Cause the MEC Chair and another ALPA negotiator said no cuts for anyone in recurrent this week. Along with a host of other improvements the company is open to.

Especially if it's a new contract and not more LOA's.

Mainline will not ever change their hiring standards. There simply isn't a need. They want the best hoop jumpers. It's yours to acquire with a little self-application. Personally, I'd prefer AA but I certainly won't go to AA WO. eff that. Just upgraded and I'm actually liking the left seat.

If there is a new southern base announcement in the coming weeks, how quickly would the pilot group find out if it would go junior or senior? I am trying to get a sense if a southern base would be attainable out of training.

I fly the 900 and i've asked a lot of 900 captain 'lifers' if they would move to Atlanta for the 200. Most of them say no because they like the 900 pay, performance, and lifestyle. It's easier to get more credit on the 900.

As for the first officers, I know we have a relatively large supply of commuters from Florida so it's hard to say how many would switch to Atlanta. (probably the worst commute from FLL for me)

That is just my experiences...

I'd imagine pretty senior on the CA side of the 200. FO side, maybe not so much. At least that's my hope!
