I would not say MSP / ORD is an easy commute. Every time I operate that flight. There's always at least 3 OA pilots listed. It might be a quick flight, but the amount of pilots commuting on that route can make it stressful.

Does Endeavor require you to have instrument currency before starting training? Haven't flown IFR in awhile and I'm curious if I need to get an IPC done before class starts.

The testing group is being setup this week. Emails are going out for the install. The apple install can be done at home, the surface requires hundreds of IT professionals, and a soldering iron.

Actually I been in a class where we had guys who haven't touched a plane in 10 years. I am sure they were all current upon completion of training.

An IPC is not required. If you can afford though, do it. Currency will put the odds in your favor to successfully complete training.
