So it would just be that for NY, then your resident state tax, or none if you live in a place like FL?

NY SDI is $1.30 a paycheck. Get hurt and have to be out of work and they will pay you a few hundred a month. It is the best money you will ever spend.

Your taxes will be the same as any other job. State you live in, federal, SOC Sec, Medicare.

JFK will be a 200 base on August 1st from what union folks tell me despite public announcements from company saying a Sept 1st open date. Since it isn't open we aren't sure how long reserve will be. What can be reasonably speculated is that the 200 will go junior relative to the 900 in JFK and reserve times will be less. Not only is it a less desired airframe, but there is fleet growth on the 200 so it is a reasonable assumption.

Was kind of confused by a post a few pages ago that the most junior CA on the -200 was May 2016 hire in JFK

It was May 2015 on the last award, not 2016. But yea it's already just about to the point of if you have the FAA required experience, you can have it.

That was a typo on my part, I meant 2015.

You probably already know this, but you won't have enough time to get an ATP thru 9E training at this point (by the end of July), so if you wish to avoid the ATP-CTP and re-taking the test, you will need to accomplish the practical on your own.

But either way it doesn't seem to matter as long as you have the hours. Looks like the application is through airline apps.. did you get an interview date or they do a phone interview as well?

Can anyone tell me which hotel they usually provide during initial training? All I heard was that it was some type of extended stay hotel and that it was single occupancy, i.e. one employee per "suite."

Thanks in advance.
