Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
I was talking to one of the mechanics in LGA today as he was doing a line check of our aircraft and asked him about the 700s. He mentioned the 700s are for over water flight because they have the over water equipment. Take it for what it is but such a small fleet for a single type suggests more 700 for 200 swaps in the future?

Oh, I see. I think the guy I quoted was referencing 900 flying you will get from Expressjet.

I was thinking the same thing. From a pilot standpoint having 700s may be easy, but I'm thinking bigger picture. There has to be logistics behind having a separate though similar aircraft from maintenance, to publications, FAA stuff-you name it. Three 700s is very curious to me.

He was just referring to the type of aircraft. Not carrier. Don't know why I'm writing on their behalf either. Bored and on a sit. That 900 Caribbean flying was EV then 9E then EV again along with a bit of CA as well. The GO loves to change routes to see who of the slaves performs better. Now it's going to us again unless we mess up like we have the RNAVs. Then I guess OO or the BRJ will do it.

Speaking of the RNAV issue, what's the full story? I've heard the headings being given in ATL.

Cleared direct RONNI, turned north
Cleared to MPASS, turned to a 360 degree heading after departure
Didn’t fly RNAV departure correctly
Cleared direct MPASS, departed straight out.
Pilot cleared for 27L approach, lined up to 27R
Given direct SLAWW, aircraft departed direct WALET
