I hope the MSP 200 pilots don't bid out of base and choose to let delta pay for their move etc. displace out of your seat and there are some incentives that go along with that. Can anyone elaborate as to what displacees are entitled to?

Default 900 to 200

So let me get this right. A previously 900 pilot who went to the 200 just go go to Atlanta is now screwed because they are locked in the 200 for at least 2 years? If so, that's pretty crappy on the company for not at least giving a heads up to individuals. Less pay. Older plane. And no option to go back to the 900? I hope I'm wrong.

That's correct. Seat locked. I know of at least one guy who told me he was holding out to see if this was going to happen. The writing was on the wall for a long time. But yeah, still sucks. Though perspective.... It doesn't suck as bad as being at xjt and living in ATL right now.

We appreciate the support from you guys. In all honesty, I'm lad our birds are going to you guys instead of Skywest or GoJets.

Yea I was sorry to hear it. Flew with an xjt crew a couple months ago who said that they knew something was up when they just stopped hearing any positive musings from mgt. Not even, "look on the bright side" stuff. And you know they knew months ago. Why would we have built a massive crew room for the handful of 200 pilots we were adding???

Yes it's true. But it's not like it's top secret information. It confuses me as to why people don't just don't read the contract? Especially nowadays when it's right on the IPad.

There seems to be an email from the union explaining seat locks like every month.

Any guess on when we'll see a vacancy announcement?

I was told next week but it seems like tomorrow would be convenient if they want the ball rolling.

So you're unhappy because we're opening a 900 base in ATL? Think how senior you'll be
In the 200 there.
