Lines right up with what I said. Takes two to make a quorum right?

The company wants, and is trying to hold to 1000 company- which for many is the FAR min. If someone has 1000 121 from another carrier and a vacancy comes out and nobody can or does bid CA with 1000 at EDV, the bar passes to company time numbers (flexible) but must still hit far mins assuming 75 hours a month from award to class date.

Clear as mud?

Anyone been able to hold CA in initial? Just curious as the recruiters said it's likely for me. I'm not banking on it but just wondering if anyone has done it. I'm expecting FO spot for awhile.

I'm 6000+ former XJ time.

Not unless it was before Feb of 16 and I doubt that happened. If you come to class next summer that might happen.

To be honest it's hard to predict because lots of FOs have been bypassing. They are the wildcard for any prediction.

Is there a high % of FOs that will not take the upgrade in NYC?

basically the plan is to open a southern 200 base (probably ATL but maybe RDU) Continue to shrink 900's in both DTW and MSP for NYC. Co base NYC, Additional 14 200's from "other DCI carrier" arrive in 2017 (lots of stuff up in the air but nothing wanting to be announced because they don't want an uncontrolled exodus from the dying airlines [Pinnacle 2014]) NYC to become an all 900 base by end of 17. Some of those 200's come back to DTW... The hope is to get some 900 guys to bid South from MSP/DTW to the new 200 base (good luck in my opinion unless they open 900s too) otherwise best bet is minimal 200 captain openings in DTW/MSP and basically no 900 captain spots for the foreseeable future. If you are willing to take the money to work in New York with an offer of a guaranteed interview at Delta (no guarantee of a job) we are the place to go... If you want a flow or a base outside New York quickly... we aren't the place to go right now (DISCLAIMER; it's the regionals, it could all change tomorrow)

How do schedules and legs differ between the 200 and 900?
Is the 200 schedules full of 4-5 leg days compared to 2 legs on the 900?

Only 13 in the Nov 14th class and 16 in Oct 31st class. I wonder if numbers are down because of the holiday or maybe we are not the number 1 choice anymore.

Anyone care to share their insight?

Last FOU said 40+ in DEC and 50+ in JAN. Might just be hard to fill classes over the holidays and winter.

I have a CJO through SSP. Only have 500 hours of company time (a ton of mil leave under my belt), so probably won't get a chance to upgrade in the next year I am here. I think there are a bunch of people in my shoes who will just stay senior FOs.

Had I been more senior I would have done the same. Senior FO looks like a nice way to run out the clock on those last few months.
