Is that for a ‘hard’ line, or RLF/CMP?

Thanks!

How do you look that up?

Takes Deep Decs access or knowing someone with access who knows how to research it.

In that case can you take a look at 145 CA MIA and let me know what the junior line holder is there

And Lastly 145 LGA CA? I'm thinking the person is in the 1100s seniority is that accurate?

You are correct. 12/16 hire.

FlyGuy2112 02-01-2019 09:53 AM

Well....PSA got a new pay package and today they got new reserve rules.

But they have a flow and have guys coming thru the door right, a little similar to us ain't it? Interesting how that got done at another wholly owned, meanwhile our union got told take concessions to even discuss anything....IN THIS MARKET!!

Don't we have a "Me too" clause??? What happened to that?

NoValueAviator 02-01-2019 12:00 PM

Wonder if PSA will end up bigger than Envoy. They're catching up, at least in terms of pilots.

buddies8 02-01-2019 01:20 PM

Maybe you all should read psa forum. It's a pay cut for them. You folks drool over anything without knowing details.

How many do they have? 1800?

They have a better scheduling system than us, and a better relationship with management.

I believe they currently get 125% for anything above 65 hours. So they have to fly longer to trigger the premium.

buddies8 02-01-2019 02:47 PM

Thank you MD, like I said you folks should read the psa forum and not bullet points from dubious incomplete information.

NoValueAviator 02-01-2019 04:00 PM

I knew the pay was fake news but what about the rsv rules? When I was shopping airlines a year and a half ago I concluded that they were substantially similar to Envoys.

Roughly 1850 now.

chrisreedrules 02-01-2019 04:52 PM

To clarify, it is in fact a pay raise for most. The only pilots who won’t see a bump are those who regularly used our SAP to drop to 65 credit and then pick back up a trip at 125%. For the majority of pilots who use SAP to adjust their schedule to get the days off they want and not necessarily to pick back up for SDO and premium pay it is a small pay bump.

I have refrained from posting on here for quite a while but I have seen quite a bit hyperbole being spread from some PSA pilots. It isn’t much of a pay raise but it’s more than what we had previously.

When are you finally out of here?

It feels like it’s starting to be just around the corner but the pessimist in me hates counting chickens before they hatch. Still just taking it one month at a time...

BernieBrosMEC 02-20-2019 04:46 PM

Junior manned on my day off tomorrow. Who do I have to contact to get another day off? Is there an RF message to send? I was looking through the contract and all I found is this;

the day(s) off with pay will be rescheduled for the pilot by mutual
concurrence between the pilot and the Company, during the
same month when possible, but in no case later than the
following month, or at the pilot's option

RF 100 RTD.

By the way, with that same form, you can select the option to be paid in lue of getting a return day.

You only get a return day or return day pay if the JM takes you below 11 days off.

That’s right, good catch.

However, just want to point out, you still get it if you’re already below 11 days off. So if you’re at 10 or 9 days off before being junior manned, still submit the RF 100 RTD. But yeah, if you’re at 12 days off or more before the JM, you don’t get it.

CrowneVic 02-20-2019 05:23 PM

Stupid question.

How do you get JM'd on your day off? Are people answering their phones on their days off, or is the company using another method to do this, i.e., calling people while they are on reserve and obligated to answer?

99.99% of the time it’s JM’d into your day off and/or JP’d into your day off by your plane breaking at the outstation on your last turn.

For me so far, every single time I’ve been JM, it’s this.

havick206 02-20-2019 05:45 PM

If you’re at home on a day off and happen to answer your phone for one reason or another, you can always say you’re unavailable.

I love a good JM/JP. 2x Pay plus a return day. That’s like free money.

If you're ready reserve and are assigned a turn, are you automatically released after blocking in and checking hi3/hi6? Called CS 30 mins after and he told me to go finish my rdy reserve shift. Nothing was in hi3/hi6

Not automatically released, but if they called someone in to replace you and they are still availablr they are supposed to release you. Now you have to do that research on your own because schedulers love to have an available body waiting and won't release you unless you kow what you are talking about. N3D list is where I start the research.

Not necessarily true, it’s whoever has the hair trigger on the phone and callsvin first to get released.

Long story short you are required to finish your ready reserve shift unless you call and get released.

Not to be confused with RAP requirements.

I'm confused who are the two pilots competing to be released from a standby shift?
