Default Monthly credit

Why are 1st year FO’s and CA’s monthly credit average per base?

Are new hires coming with 121 experience really upgrading out of training?

75 hrs min pay credit on reserve, 72 min for line holder, or line guarantee, if more than 72 hrs.

Yes, for now. People with 1000 hrs 121 time are being immediately displaced to CA. Not sure for how long they will need to do this though.

.
Thanks. So you are not really able to credit more in the first year? Are your average really at 72-75?

That’s min credit average line holder is more like 80. Add some OT and some carryover you could credit over 100 if you want to work that hard.

Reserve will be 75 plus OT if your willing to work on a day off. And it fits around your rest period and your seniority can hold it.

It all depends on what you want to do or not to do. I was an OT pig in October and flew 96 hours, credited 130. Last month I didn’t do anything extra and will credit around 80. I really is up to you. Once you hold a line you’ll learn to bid lines that give you a conflict during carryover. It’s pretty easy to learn to do.

Is the very much depending on base? Can new hire expect credit that in their first year?

Honestly, this is a very tough question for anyone to answer with certainty. It all depends on, how much you want to work, available open time on your days off, 150% vs 200%, seat, equipment, base. So depending on a bunch of factors it’ll be easier some months, and harder others to see a big credit month.

But to broadly answer your question, yes. A new hire to the the #1 can credit big months. It’s easier to do as a line holder, though.

It’s also easier if you live in base.

If you can hold a line, then you can credit as much as you want. Opentime will be your friend.
