This x10. Plus you won't have to deal with eating like sh*t on the road.

Go on Amazon and get yourself a kitchenboss brand of vacuum sealing machine, and get a couple of generic rolls of vacuum bags.

You can make a fortnights worth of food and seal them and freeze them super easy and just grab a few and throw them in your food bag as you roll out the door.

Excellent idea, I will have to try. I am assuming these bags are safe to microwave?

I guess depends on which bags you buy. I think anything bpa free is safe. If there’s no microwave just run them under hot water for a while.

I don't even think you need to be that aggressive. Anytime I'm cooking something for the family that I know is easy to pack, I just make a double batch and pack the extras in microwavable containers. Probably 5 minutes total extra time vs the normal cooking and cleanup. I actually have more travel meals in the freezer now than I ever expected so I'm way ahead of the curve.

Nicely put. I’m burning through my savings now to get to my 1500. It’s a sacrifice for now and hopefully payoff in the near future.
