There was a class today, read RWs email. It references "today's" new hire class".

No, there wasn’t. They put her in last weeks new hire class and he was referring to that. The last class was 7/29 and the next one will be on the 12th.

Ok. His wording made it sound like it was today.

For a pilot with previous part 121 time and considering a lateral move to Envoy, how long might it take to get Miami after upgrading within 6 months?

MIA is very senior and not very large, about 2 years plus looking at the current reserve list. Republic may be a better option if you are looking for MIA.

As an almost direct entry captain anticipate 2-3 years to be able to hold Miami unless it really grows. Also anticipate being on the Chicago reserve list for the same amount of time if not longer upon upgrading.

Captain?

Years

MIA CA is the most senior status at Envoy by a long shot.

Yeah no, dont come here as Captain in MIA is super senior and that base seems to always be shrinking. Republic a way better option, unless of course you dont want to FO for a couple years as I am pretty sure they are not upgrading right at the minimums, however they have announced classes in August and September I believe so that has improved.
