Did that commute out of DFW for a few months, I would prob quit and give up my seniority before being forced to commute in and out of NY again

What makes it obsolete? It's not new and shinny?

No coupled VNAV, poor fuel economy (no future, will be back in desert soon), underpowered (have fun throwing pax off for fuel constantly), perfunctory “FMS,” structural 250-below-ten in a world where you are always restricted at 250, .78 structural cruise in a world where ATC needs you at .80. Mainly those things. It is obsolete in a few charming ways too, but those are the ugly ones.

If you're barely holding an OFE status right now, be very afraid.

I think their real angle here is hoping to displace some of the junior 145 FOs into a NFE status, thus avoiding the 3 months of A pass travel and hotels that they'd have to give new hires but not somebody being forced from a different base.

lol I’m still not used to thinking on the level of psychopath the management is on
And if that doesn’t get the noggin joggin, they’re cutting lines by another ~50% in the NY domicile by October according to RW. Maybe the plan is to staff the flying entirely with reserves.

I’m doing my cadet HR and technical interviews next week and assuming they go well and I’m offered the position do I have to sign a letter of commitment on the spot?
After following everything going on at Envoy I want to keep my options open and I’m cautious of making a commitment.
Thanks.

It's been a few months since Envoy's pay increase.
Is Envoy's Cadet program maybe more attractive?
If not, Why should I stay away from Envoy?
