Default For those who like to nitpick (.01)....

Envoy website changed today, advertising:

Sign-on bonus – Receive $10,000 bonus when you complete training, and another $8,000 after completing one year of service

Industry-leading pay – Envoy has increased First Officer starting pay to more than $50 per hour

So, no more $22,000 checks first day of class. Not sure what that means for the $2,500 "retention" bonus though.

Also, the announcement that went out says "Highlights of the new pay package include pay scale increases of up to 30 percent for First Officers, with a starting base pay rate of $50.21 per hour"

and if you go to the PSA website, they also have posted "industry leading pay with first officers starting at $50.22 per hour"... which I guess means AAG values PSA pilots over Envoy pilots by at least a penny (although Envoy has a 1% increase coming which will make their rate JUMP to $50.71 soon)

I wonder if AAG really cared about the .01 cent, or if they just wanted to prove to ALPA and all the management haters that they can and will do whatever they want to do?

Also no mention of 5.5-6 year flow, did they give up on that lie already?

Will current pilots on property get $8000 after 1 year of service instead of the retention bonus?

I hope it backfires. People used to come here for that $22500 check.

You want to know what industry leading pay looks like, look at the rates Endeavor is paying their pilots.

It's apparently not on Envoy's website anymore. As a side note, the latest ALPA interactive seniority list (as of yesterday) shows new hires flowing in 9.22 years.

Envoy, PSA, and Piedmont pilot sites all are advertising about the same now. Looks like AAG basically made all 3 as similar as possible except all 3 basically claim to have the "fastest guaranteed flow to American of all regional airlines".... so at a minimum, 2 of 3 are not telling the truth.

Looks like "qualified previous 121" bonus also decreased to 23k.

Doesn’t sound like any change to the retention bonus.

Pretty sure the reason the FOs got the higher hourly rate is because of the elimination of the retention bonus.

They’re not going to let you double dip like that. Of course they’re taking that away
