A million years ago, when they started moving towards the parallel runway scheme, there was an informational pamphlet they put out.
They said they’d looked at historical data and found an average of some low number of days (10-15 I think) that had sustained Xwinds that exceeded most A/C limitations. It sounded suspicious, but they claimed to have numbers.

Right but a T-tail with aft mounted engines tends to exacerbate the problem more as a rudder blanking issue. The Delta MD-88 at LGA 4 years ago comes to mind. The AA MD-80 way back at LIT was another. I wondered what the 145 manual says about it and if there were additional limitations directed for such conditions.
