Scope issues
So with AA parking 155 of our 175 wide bodies and getting rid of the 75/76 and the 190, I would wager a bet that our scope clause will have a major impact on how much flying the Eagle jets continue to do. By getting rid of those planes the already very close scope limitations might be in trouble. APA will not give concessions on our scope clause.
Food for thought.

I don't know the specifics of the details but they had 15 months to comply with the 737 max situation which may have us parking a couple 140s earlier than planned (we were gradually parking them anyway). I'd assume the same applies here.
15 months. I hope things stabilize by then. In any case, if we can't put butts in seats, scope won't matter.

Are you referring to my previous post? If so please explain why flying more at the regional level is a good thing in the long term?

Long term, if you can realistically get hired at mainline, losing flying to them at the regional level is a good thing.
That's not what's happening though. We're all losing flying, and a few anxious mainline guys are divebombing our boards to flex on the poors because it makes them feel better about their own financial situations
