then there is no reason for consecions at envoy under any circumstance. Just note the last pilot on seniority list as of today and any one after this person in the future is a cadet and should be treated appropriately.

Yeah that's what always seems to happen and then the flying doesnt get done right, maintenance issues come up and we slowly start to take back all of our flying and QOL. Once we get it back, some black swan event or global financial crisis will take it all away again, simply repeating the process over and over.

With the way things are going, I kinda suspect things to get worse before they get better. Initial furloughs could have been a lot worse, but with schedule cuts, AA reporting weak bookings going into the holiday season, and mountains of debt with little revenue to show for it, I can't see how more furloughs and/or bankruptcy aren't inevitable at this point.
