Care to elaborate as to why? Security?
And for the tin foil hat people, they announced it way before any LOAs were discussed or rejected. Just submit the bids through their website using the webfos keystroke script. It's not hard. |

And my “heck you” to them, is me picking up OT like a *****, running APU-passenger comfort and two engines taxi-in interest of safety
Management has such an amazing relationship with this pilot group. |

I'm all for sticking it to the man, but please don't burn thousands of gallons of fossil fuels into the atmosphere unnecessarily. And those that say it doesn't matter, yes it does. If every pilot acted the same way multiply that burn per all flights, over all years. It adds up, I for one like clean air, thanks.

I’ll keep that in mind next time I’m sweating my butt off on a 4 hr sit at an outstation.

I am ok with Quicktrade not working anymore. Just adjust to using PFKeys. I credited almost 30 hrs of OT last month this way, it’s not that bad.

This is a customer service business in many respects. Your passengers will remember if they were treated poorly the next time they buy tickets, and every returning customer is vital in this environment. |
Keeping air flowing through the cabin at all times is vital for the filtration to work. This was studied in the 70s when like 40% of the passengers on a commercial flight that took a lengthy tarmac delay with packs off contracted the flu from one sickly other passenger. I don’t remember the details but I’m sure you can look it up.

While you have a valid point, the comfort of our paying passengers should be paramount. If the temperature is creeping up down back due to ineffective PCA, start the APU. (Not to mention a safety issue if the heat is excessive) Saving the company notional nickels, or notional carbon credits, while your passengers and crew sweat and sit in stagnant air is absurd. Be a captain.
