With our current schedule, ORD 175 would not be a base. Closing down a base has a cost so everyone hopes it will pick back up.
But it is better as a base than PHX with 9 daily departures. To open a base, you need planes overnighting there. I dont think we have any (or at least many) in PHX.

Just a word to the wise from a former Eagle guy—don’t ever think they wouldn’t do something like that (not saying you are). I remember when the CRJ was new, they moved them all to ORD. Then later, moved them back to DFW. I was displaced as a result. It can and has happened.

Not sure what you mean by the MIA comment, there are a bunch of overnighting planes in MIA in April.

We are overnighting airplanes in PHX, though I don’t know how many.

So by descent numbers, you mean going down. Or do you mean decent numbers as in stay a large number.
We’re in the aviation business. Words mean things, so to convey the correct meaning, you need to use concise, unambiguous verbiage.
But I don’t think that any presence Republic has in MIA will be significant for AA. They fly for three different carriers, so sure, they may still be there but any AA flying will be minimal through flying, just like Envoy does through any number of hubs that attend domiciles.

If you say so.
either case, the point was when everyone was saying republic is out of miami was wrong, they are still there with a descent presence just as in ord where 175 flying as is, is being reduced with increase of republic flying.

WIth 6 daily departures coming after the next schedule change, and 0 departures after that, I'm not sure what you consider a descent (sic) presence.
