I said no such things. I just said the company can’t locate your iPad if it’s off.

If that was true, it would be so much easier to find idiots that get lost and let their phone batteries die.

let’s move on to what information can be monitored and reported. MDM tools can setup regular automated monitoring of all managed devices or they can query specific devices as needed. Provided the device is on and connected to the Internet, it will respond.

Yes, and there are a lot of CLAIMS, but nothing backed by FACTS. For a device to be triggered it has to be in SOME state of on and connected. While batteries can’t be removed (easily) from most devices, off is still off.

LMAO. do you have facebook, gmail? any email? use the internet? if the company needs your location for contract violation in a lawsuit they got it. they won't use the company ipad illegaly.

The company has set up a program to manipulate your iPad, such as when they push an update to you. Reading the FOIB you will notice an instruction to leave the iPad plugged in and connected to the internet overnight so they can push the update.
There's a difference between sleep and off.


And remember... Alexa is always listening. Google is always listening. otherwise neither would recognize the wake up command.
