This. Envoy sort of ruined me for the entire AA ecosystem, although I didn’t go to an ACMI

There are still furloughed (“inactive”) pilots that don’t have training dates yet, so it will probably be a few months. That’s pure speculation though.

Would of been nice for those of us that had Envoy CJOs, but now expired, got an email inviting us back, instead .... seems we have to re-apply all over again

Not a chance. Pretty sure that every direct entry Captain had been downgraded. Not sure what the hire date of the lowest seniority Captain is, but there are at least 800 people, many of whom now have the time, that will be in front of anyone hired AFTER all the sitting pilots get trained. The days of DECs at envoy are over for a few years at least.

Last i checked the junior captain at envoy is about 1100 of (about 2300ish) seniority give or take. There are LOTS of Direct entry captains who were downgraded, and lots more who are ca qualified, and WANT to upgrade but have been unable to hold it.

Not every DEC was downgraded, though a lot were. The rest of this is spot on. CA upgrade will go by seniority not “enough hours” for the foreseeable future.

Junior CA is in the 1500 seniority range. Also due to the nature of airlines you will have more CAs than FOs so the minimum amount of CAs at Envoy right now would be 1200ish.

After the last bid, junior captain is just under 1300 on the 145s in both ORD and DFW. While that number didn’t really change, the seniority on 175s has been shuffled around. The newest Captain upgrade was senior to that with most of the new captains being folks that had managed to not be force upgraded and were 2016-17 hires.

I didn't look closely at the last bid, just today's reserve list.
