A YEAR from now?? We’ve seen what can happen in a year. But three NEW aircraft is small potatoes in the scheme of the fleet size and honestly doubt they would bother with a deal that small as a year away plan. Even as many as AAG has purchased, they wouldn’t likely get a very good deal on a ORDER for three. Even a delivery slot for three a year away that some small operator isn’t going to take isn’t going to be given at any significant discount as that is far enough away to be absorbed in the production schedule. Planes for delivery a year from now aren’t even parts yet, they are raw material. Now if they were a purchase of opportunity, sure, but that’s usually a cancellation for something that’s already built or at least very near completion.

Oh agreed and I won’t be surprised if in 2-6 more months we hear that AA backed out of buying them and SKW has miraculously come through again to buy them. I was just adding that it had been announced that we are supposed to get 3 new ones with the beginning of the “window” being the end of this year. As always though, I’ll believe it when I see them on the line.

AA email and recruiting websites (go figure), ha. That’s why I was saying that it was surprising that there was not a bigger deal made about it. I guess I misread it also and thought they were slated to hit the line 2022 into 2023 but it says all 3 by the end of this year.
