That is strange... I had a CJO in March of 2024 and was assigned the May class date that was cancelled. OTS, former Military aviator with 121 experience and an ATP. I have not received a class date yet. Called last week to inquire and they said they are still working on placing everyone into classes.

UGH. This depresses me. The waiting is really starting to get to me.

As a data point, I just got an invite to interview (albeit in July). OTS CFI, 1650 TT, 26 ME.

I’m guessing that my date is far out because they’re trying to get the CJO holders from last year through before taking in anyone new.

That is possible, but also possible is they are not taking the SKW approach and interviewing 25 a day and offering tons of CJOs. There are only a few slots each day for interviews, so the days fill up quickly,.

Back when I was interviewed, 10 people were interviewed along with me and all 10 of us got hired. The HR rep remarked on how unusual it was that they accepted all of us, and I asked about what she meant. She said normally they only like 2-5 people out of a class of 10-15. This matches what I was hearing from other pilots. Envoy was rejecting a lot of people who interviewed back then. Not sure if it was because they had a quota, high standard, or the candidates were subpar. I'd assume its the same now with the high supply of pilots.

I think you're right, Envoy is only interviewing as many people as they're willing to take on. When I interviewed last July I was the only FO candidate, along with 1 other cadet candidate. It was a really quick and easy day!

Anyone else from the May 5 class getting nervous about not hearing anything for a week? I got the call last week and an email that confirmed May 5th class, but radio silence since, and that was 7 days ago. Having flashbacks of my cancelled class last year.

I called class prep today and they said they will likely send emails to the May 5 class next week.

Lol, I was having the same anxiety, so I'm glad I'm not the only one. It was like déjà vu from last year. I got all my company documents, travel itinerary, etc., yesterday for the April 21st class. Seems they wait until about the two-week/week and a half mark before your class.

could this be because you all were accepted during a review board at the same time and he's older? When did they stop review board last year?
