He moved on to retirement from the schoolhouse is what I heard. If they're the same guy.
After all, that carrier isn't American Eagle anymore, just using that marketing name along with multiple other carriers. * posted this response to you anyway as I don't know if you put me on ignore today or not. |

Well, I never "moved onto retirement", nor was I a check airman there. I flowed to AA if that helps. Of course, considering one idiots steadfast belief in who I am (along with almost weekly attempts to out me as that person), and the gullibility of others in believing it here, I'd be skeptical of any conclusion you or others supposedly have about anyone over at the stench ridden cesspool of EL. BTW, shouldn't that really be called "EnvoyLounge" now ?

As a flow pilot, how would you say the captains you fly with treat you. What is the atmosphere in the cockpit like? |

Sure, there are a few interesting personalities, but the key (at least for me) is to know and perform my function and that is as an F/O. I've heard stories of a few (but very few) flows who butted heads with captains talking about their previous captain/check airman life at AE and being over assertive in that respect, but that's just looking for conflict. Sure I have almost 20,000 hours and 12,500 PIC at Eagle in turboprops and jets, but at AA I'm an presently an F/O and you know what ? After all the responsibility hassles as an Eagle PIC, I like not having to worry about a lot of that stuff for awhile and just coast for awhile and the $58/hour raise ABOVE my most senior Eagle pay makes that a decent place to be until I do decide to upgrade again. We DO have some idiots, but all airlines do. Thankfully though, they are an extreme minority |

Well that's 2 very positive responses. Thanks for you guys insight from the other side. I guess the pilots defending the profession anuses slithered back under the rock from which they came.
Never were anything more than hot air. You need a score card to keep track of the players here nowadays. |
What I find humorous is that there are a handful of people that have their age 65 retirements at the end of the year on the seniority list. And that number goes way into the double digits by 2017.

Everyone misunderstands. Envoy is 600 pilots fat. When they reach 1500 and attrition is the same, then they will GAF. Until then it's blackjack anyone.

I'm sure the PDP still has remenants left (mostly in MIA) and there ARE a handful of natives here still anti-flow thru. But, that is of minimal impact now and the fact is this pilot group now is a technicolor of conflict. Native AA, AE flows, former TWA, former Reno, AWA, East native, East "3rd list"mamong others.
