It really is that simple, if you spend all the time you've used posting/stalking on apc and dedicated to
job fairs/establishing contacts maybe you'd be gone by now. Or maybe you did that and everyone just saw how much of a whiny ***** you are.

So true. Applying everywhere and chasing job fairs keep you sharp and ready for that one opportunity!

Job fairs are a necessary evil I agree, but I'm not going to go chasing mainline pilots through the terminal like a douche in hopes of getting a rec on my app, sorry. As to my attitude I've been offered letters from both UA and DL pilots, hasn't done me a damn bit of good.

From your post I assume you got hired at a legacy and you were not an intern, military pilot, or minority? Congratulations, you won the lottery.

They'd better hurry up. We lost 70 something last month and United is setting up to pilfer a lot more. I would imagine Delta is looking forward to taking plenty as well, since the slap in the face Dougweiser gave them with this Compass deal.

I am with RJ on this, NO vote. It sounds (rumored) to be the same as before except minus twenty airplanes. DUI can go get another.
