.....and yet it was still rejected ?

I think that would support the idea that they're setting Envoy up for consolidation. It would also seem to indicate that there was some sort of concessions by ALPA as I can't see why Pedro would pitch improvements to Parker. It would make him look like more of an idiot then he already does and would alienate himself from them. At any rate, this would demonstrate that AAG is on their own plan and Envoy management is on the outside.

When whatever Parker has planned in announced, Envoy management will likely be as surprised as everyone else.

I've been following the plight over the last 100 or so posts and to be clear I don't want to screw any pilot groups. I'm a former Indy guy so I've been rolled over, displaced, furloughed, etc. I'm living in DFW with an offer from Envoy. Any advice for a potential new hire given what's happening (i.e. as an outsider how do I make sense of this)? Thoughts? A DFW domicile is a big motivator. Is that likely to come to fruition?

I agree. They seem to have committed to plan B. What that specifically is, is the question.

Also for those who go around and say that eagle envoy is not cost competitive or cost to much because of it high seniority of pilots, you are going to have to show me financials compared to the other regionals of same size and no you can not use management says so. AAG will be saying that to APA soon also.

I am still waiting now three months for the announcement for these other feeders who were knocking down AAG door for the feed envoy was going to do with the e175, what is taking so long DUI DOUG, Kirby needs next months mortgage payment, whatis taking so long. Lets get it over with, AAG cant park aircraft fast enough to match the staffing loss as it is so the bad news wont make a difference.
It doesn't matter what anyone other then Parker thinks about Envoy pilot costs. If HE thinks they are uncompetitive and HE thinks he can chop those expenses by doing whatever, that all that's necessary to turn that into reality.

I don't think they are uncompetitive, but I DO think he thinks they are and that he has a plan to correct that which he thinks can be corrected.

as a side note for the new aag management, what had they done that was positive for all those years at US airways, as far as I can tell they stood back and allowed usapa run wild ( as manager I would have too) the smallest pilot group AW was the highest paid and the largest pilot group east was the cheapest. Hard not to show a profit under those conditions. He may have a plan but everything they are doing is being held together with spit, wont last long. just a biased opinion

We'll, Delta management seems to be making the right decisions and UAL the wrong ones. Hopefully Parker will note that and act accordingly. Interestingly, Delta is investing more in mainline ops and UAL still seems intoxicated on RJ's. Obviously, there's more to it then that, but it is a noteworthy aspect of the differences between Delta and United.

Sounds like the original plan B that you didn't give us details on is what is in play now. Expect attrition to reach untold heights now that the vacancy bid was cancelled.

Well, then the next few years we will see what an RJ Hangover looks like.

That we will. Who'd have thought the Mickey Finn of RJ intoxication would end up the lowly new-hire F/O or lack thereof ?

For too long, they've paid no bucks and now they have no Buck Rogers.
