IF your little sham interview over there goes well, you will be flying with ex Eagle captains who will hate you. Deal with it.
But that's ok, it's fun seeing how there have not being a new vacancy bid in PSA for the last 4 weeks, how they are withholding "flows" until December and how they are also canceling vacations. And there's not even 1 new airplane flying in the line. Music will stop sooner or later... |

As for Joliet, you work for the industry bottom feeder and you ARE Parker's whipped little btch. Of course you will see everyone else as 'elitist'. Poor you... |

Didn't the b scale at aa happen in the 80s?
If we look back and study other instances where American has begun to replace aging fleet types, you’ll find more often than not that these announcements are carefully timed to impact pilot negotiations. AMR threatened to enact “shrink plans” when negotiating pilot contracts in 1983, 1987, 1990, 1993-1997 and 2003. Do not be surprised if management makes some sort of dramatic announcement in the coming months, such as a larger and more sudden fleet reduction and possibly even pilot furloughs. That worked very effectively for them in 1983 with the phase-out of the old gas-guzzling B-707s, which they used as leverage to obtain the B-Scale. |

Hahahahaha if you say so. But most people here are disgusted with PSA actions. If only they would have hold the line, everyone would be making progress.

Upgrade bid yesterday for 8, previous one 4/22 with 8. 2 "flows" are going this month, 2 next and will apparently "catch up" with extras the month after. They cancelled like 2 vacations and that was in February, none since. It looks like whatever source you have for your information may need to be replaced. |

With fewer check airmen would that not imply fewer changes overall, growth or displacement?
Then of course marketing gets a say Finally, APA interpreting FAR 117 rest rules have left mainline in the lurch as they anticipated picking up Legl flying too. Even a computer cannot match the magnitude of this screw up |
A few weeks ago in psa worm hole central(day), your newbies were very excited zbout getting envoy crj700's and quitting emvoy pilots to come to psa. First one didn't happen. Second will never. I highly doubt our guys would make such a backward movement if they've been here a year. Most will go to lcc's and majors. A few may go to skywest or republic.
Another tidbit was from one huge( size wise around waist) fo who was upgrading. He said psa had parked about 4 planes already because of staffing. Also, psa crj900's supposed to be 1Q 2014 are now maybe 4Q 2014. Also, once the likes if silver, commutair pool of pilots dry up and the unhirables elsewhere, who wants to fly under a turd of a contract psa has? Especially, when there are better options. |

more bad news
with the last 2 vacancy bids closed a bunch of guys that were in upgrade class are being sent back to FO on their previous equipment. A few were just waiting on IOE to finish up. Now the company is back on the PBS bidding. Will be running training in June for a our last co bid of July, then out to vote. With the attitudes over here right now, it has zero chance of passing in its current form. The Rumor of SS coming back to run the E175 program is completely false(straight from his mouth) AH has verified that DFW check airman are being displaced back to the line. Strong chance that the company is going to start coming after summer vacation blocks, especially on the CA side. Like last time they will offer 300% or buy it back and let you bid it after September. If they don't get enough they will start canceling junior guys blocks. Everyone I know says they'll take the time whether it says VC or SK next to it, its all PTO time anyway. A few guys are even buying tickets on other airlines to guarantee their travel and not having to worry about calling in SK.
