This will certainly be the summer of managements discontent. They have really stirred the hornets nest this time. I see "company" pilots seething in anger around the terminal; people you never thought would be upset with their company.

I am on my way out later this year, to greener pastures. I hope management comes to their senses soon but I have met too many little man syndrome guys before. They will let this place burn to the ground. I am happy to light the match.

With the attitudes over here right now, it has zero chance of passing in its current form. The Rumor of SS coming back to run the E175 program is completely false(straight from his mouth) AH has verified that DFW check airman are being displaced back to the line. Strong chance that the company is going to start coming after summer vacation blocks, especially on the CA side. Like last time they will offer 300% or buy it back and let you bid it after September. If they don't get enough they will start canceling junior guys blocks. Everyone I know says they'll take the time whether it says VC or SK next to it, its all PTO time anyway. A few guys are even buying tickets on other airlines to guarantee their travel and not having to worry about calling in SK.

We all know this would happen.

Now the question is, are they going to still bring the CRJs to DFW and just do a ton of through flying? Or are they going to bring in another regional to do that flying?

Wasn't it decided long ago, even before the TA was shot down the the CRJ flying was going to leave. I don't see why those plans would have changed... It can't happen overnight.

Well, Pedro said the Crj-700s are staying for the "foreseeable future." In this industry it could be only a few months. Ha.

Home based tdy. Lol.. They seem to like doing that and get enough takers every month.
