There is actually no way the upgrade could come down significantly as a result of these negotiations. They're offering us aircraft in 2016 as the 2015 aircraft are allocated to Compass. We will continue to lose airframes until at least that point.

LMAO!!!! This is the best post I have read yet!! I am in total shock at the way you folks treat each other let alone work together and try to fly an aircraft in a safe manner. I was just invited to an interview at Envoy and I think I rather jump out a FU*KING window then come work here.....

I'm glad we're getting some of you to make better decisions.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but I wouldn't make a decision on whether to interview based on some people on an Internet forum. Just saying. Trust me, it's much different in the real world.

There are so many people posting here simply complaining. If it is so bad here and opportunities are so great elsewhere....LEAVE. LEAVE NOW!!! Why are you waiting. If you're young, you have your whole career ahead of you. Maybe you've only been here a few years. JUST move...go to where you will be happy ... LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO LIVE IN AGONY! If you're more senior and think you "can't move", find something else to do with your life that gives you happiness!! I'm serious...make decisions that make you happy...whatever that is for you. Don't waste your life being unhappy!!!

Now, if all you are doing is sitting in your chair, ****ed off and wanting to whine and complain...remember this. YOU CHOOSE TO BE HERE. Contrary to popular demand, you are not a slave to ENVOY. You have the right to leave.

Which are you? Do you have the guts to leave? To take responsibility for your life? To embrace change? Or can you change your attitude and contribute something positive? Because the endless complaining really doesn't accomplish much...and second guessing decisions made also is water under the bridge!

Just saying .... because life is TOO short to be in the place where so many have placed themselves! Go find happiness --- whatever that is for you!

Spot on my brother!! Incredibly said! I was just thinking the same. I have an interview with Envoy coming up and I can't believe what I am reading here. I am a 44 year old man who gave up my right seat on a 747 13 years ago to start and run my own business. I had a good run for 13 years but as we know life, all good things for "x" or "y" reasons come to an end. So here I am facing the regionals as my only option to get back into the friendly skies and what I am seeing is that the skies are anything but friendly!! Everyone in here is completely off of their rockers man. Come on guys, think about your health and your happiness. Things could be way way worse. If we all put our heads together and at least made some effort to find happiness things just may turn around for everyone. What "JetPilotMan" says should be an eye opener to everyone out here. Life is incredibly to short to be living with this hate and anger. We must try and find our happiness or else none of this even makes sense to do. Just a little positivity can go a very long way.

Honestly, I am being sarcastic but it really makes one wonder what the heck is going on out there in the real world. It seems that the crowd is overly bitter and cranky and that sets a horrible precedence for the cockpit. How can one enjoy a days work if we are teamed up with one of these cats that has only horrible things to say?? I mean I know things are tough and that the pay is terrible and all but we choose to be where we are. No one has forced us to accept these positions. We put ourselves in them. I believe that we must take the good with the bad and make the best out of it. At the end of the day we are granted the privilege to do that one thing we all love to do and that's soar the skies in a cool jet! At least that's the way I see it. I know there is a lot more to it as I have spent hours reading about the problems at hand but man, its as simple as walking away if its to much for the individuals to handle. We all have the power to make our own choices and if things are unacceptable to the individual than its best to just move on and find that happiness. *****ing and moaning isn't going to get us any closer to the happiness we should ALL have!! My opinion of course. I guess by the same token if one chooses to live an angry and cranky ass life it absolutely their prerogative. To all those out there looking for that dream job, always remember that KFC has manager positions making $60K a year!!! LOLOL!!! LETS ALL BE HAPPY!!!!!! (like the song says) ;)

So you don't even work here yet and you're already on your soap box telling people who have been here for years to leave if they don't like it?

Absolutely ridiculous.

I have a question, and prefer not to be flamed or trolled. Yes the company is shrinking airplane wise... But I would think if Envoy is losing more pilots than it is replacing (and I'd expect this trend would continue if not get worse) wouldn't upgrade times go down in the coming years? I assume most people leaving are captains and they need to be replaced. So more FO's get upgraded and new hires like myself would see shorter upgrade times. Right??
