I have a question, and prefer not to be flamed or trolled. Yes the company is shrinking airplane wise... But I would think if Envoy is losing more pilots than it is replacing (and I'd expect this trend would continue if not get worse) wouldn't upgrade times go down in the coming years? I assume most people leaving are captains and they need to be replaced. So more FO's get upgraded and new hires like myself would see shorter upgrade times. Right??
So for now, no. In the future, maybe. |

So you don't even work here yet and you're already on your soap box telling people who have been here for years to leave if they don't like it?
Absolutely ridiculous. |

Don't count out Envoy. It was only 3 or 4 years ago that Mesa's stock was, literally, at 1 cent. These boards reported that you actually had to wait in line at the Mesa CP's office to quit because there were so many quitting, Mesa's planes were dirty and worn, US Air was dissatisfied, and Mesa pilots were miserable. Fast forward 4 years, and now Mesa is the place to go!
Eagle/Envoy, on the other hand, has always produced a good product, training and facilities are top notch, and but for stagnation the pilots are generally happy going to work. A large airplane placement (a la Compass and Mesa) will go a long way to turn around doom and gloom. Although it may be a couple of years. |

LMAO!!!! This is the best post I have read yet!! I am in total shock at the way you folks treat each other let alone work together and try to fly an aircraft in a safe manner. I was just invited to an interview at Envoy and I think I rather jump out a FU*KING window then come work here.....
Anyway, I guess I won't get to fly with you now. Good luck with your career. |
