I would expect them to close NY EMB this fall, shrink MIA as republic takes flying down there, and eventually give the CRJs to PSA as they merge us with PDT with 12/4 caps and crap pay. To them, this is a plan that makes much more sense than raising pay. Whether it is financially sensible to jump through this many hoops and infuriate so many employees in order to avoid rewarding pilots who have put in years of work for the company is up for debate. I have a strong suspicion it's not even close to worth it, but I guarantee their power point meetings will show big savings on charts that will never show the full picture.

A contributing reason to close NY, those have been Eagle bases for a long time. Many from ops to ramp and gate have been there quite a while. I'm sure AAG wouldn't mind employing their usual backstabbing technique of giving employees the option to move halfway across the country to another position, the street, or getting hired on at whoever replaces us at the bottom of the list.
