Quote: I'm confused. Have negotiations already broken down again?
Turns out it is all true. Information is beginning to trickle in. From what I heard, negotiations didn't "break down" so much as the company walked away from the table and told our Union they need to move their bottom line.

The chain of events that led to this point is damaging and frightening if all true. Turns out we have been played from multiple angles including from within our own Union.

That shouldn't be surprising, we've been played by our own union for quite some time now. Team Tony wasn't the first nor the last. Good luck to everyone here.

Quote: Really? Because it looks like you're just another back stabber drooling over the prospect of more airplanes. Forgive my haste to judge but this industry has proven to be rife with such individuals.
I'm sorry if I've ever come off as overly enthusiastic about my own airline's growth while other companies are contracting. That's painful and shameful and nobody should lose the seniority built by years of effort and toil - for minimal compensation - while the higher-ups still get rich, AA refuses to recognize your worth, and your union does nothing of value. For what it's worth:

I have many friends at ExpressJet and Envoy, unfortunately none of them have upgraded and they'll more than likely end up going to another regional to start over. That's why I hope negotiations work out for Envoy, to prevent that, but we'll see what happens.

Didn't realize you were Envoy, Jvw. Good luck on the talks. Everybody I know had incredible respect for your group's decision to turn down a bad contract.

Geez. That's disconcerning. This place is immune to good news.

You think a guilty party is going to confess to his crime? You are gullible. If he is so innocent then why hasn't he put out an email blast defending his character? I for one would for damn sure be on top of that if someone was trying to discredit me.

Relax people, this is just more company shenanigans and union busting.

Apparently the Glass and company didnt like the MECs response to thier low ball offer and this is how they are reacting. How do you break a union? Discredit its leaders, manage and then destroy expectations, and break the will to fight of the membership.*(Borrowed that last sentence).

There is more to the story, and yes, WIZ is not a CUJO fan, but im getting that the company was the one who walked away after they thought the MEC would except something lower than they were willing to possibly due to one persons oppinion. Discaimer, I havent talked to my rep yet.

Everyone needs to watch the video APA put out called "confessions of a union buster" (youtube it). You will undrlerstand Glass and his motives.

So quick to assume guilt. Condemned before he's even said a word. I guess he should have sent out an email immediately after this coward threw a turd in the swimming pool? When, at midnight? All comms go through ALPA lawyers, I'm sure they were up at midnight on a Sunday to tackle anonymous posts on an internet forum. He's smart to keep his mouth shut here, these are serious accusations. This is a public forum, this shouldn't even be taking place here. People should be calling or emailing their lec or the MEC and finding out what is happening, otherwise nobody knows tihs and and is talking out their ssa.

Our MEC has been extremely tight lipped, this pilot group has been kept in the dark for a long time. Emailing or calling a rep would do absolutely no good.
