And then you claim you are just making "fair" assessments. What a joke.

The announcement was made yesterday regarding the next 20 flowing to AA. There was an HI6 about it and they are also on the flow list on jetnet. All of this is information that you have even if you don't want it.

So either,

A. You don't work here.

or

B. You know all of this yet continue to try your best to paint the most horrible picture of Envoy possible even if that means pushing false information. That would put you squarely into eaglefly territory which is a very dark place to be.

You need to shut down the engines and recharge.

I feel bad for the guys that were affected by the slowdown that occurred post 9/11, the economic downturn, and age 65. It was an awful time to be a pilot.

I really think at Envoy and many other places, it's a great time to be a pilot. We are about to see nonstop hiring at the legacies that will last a decade.

I'm sure some regionals will fold in that time, but that's good for the industry and those pilots will find work very quickly. It's a good time to be a pilot.

Now the crew room needs to be remodeled. In any event, they fired me this afternoon so I hope you are happy f*ckers!!!! I just can't deal with this stress anymore.

Fact: There were no new Flow Through pilots selected yesterday on the page in Jetnet. I checked before posting. If AA gave out class dates to previously selected pilots yesterday, that was imminent, but we all pretty much knew who they were going to be. Pedro is grasping for any positive news to put out.

Fact: Pedro, Ric, and some within our ALPA leadership (know anyone?) are taking grains of truth/ good news and characterizing them as award winning sand castles. While the retention of six CRJs is absolutely good news, the fact is, THEY ARE STILL LEAVING in the not too distant future. While 20 guys who were selected a month ago will flow through in a month, the fact that there would be 20 in July and going forward was announced months ago. YOU are the one grasping for anything that can possibly be characterized as the message you want conveyed.

I'm relieved that the spin has stopped and ENY may be starting to pull out of the dive, but acting like we are at altitude with full tanks and coffee cups is as much misinformation as the other side of the spectrum, which you accuse me of. Perhaps somewhere between Eaglefly and you/ Pedro is the truth. If you feel that my unwillingness to carry Doug and Pedro's water with you is wrong, well we just disagree.

This announcement is just the beginning.

I don't think you'll see 80k in bonuses at the AAG wholly owned's though. I think they have something much bigger and more of a long term solution in the works. And it involves a cradle to grave type of approach, not just a short term bonus. I know that AA or Parker hasn't ever been called innovative, but I think they could be soon.

I reciend my previous statement. I was able to sit down with my source and have them show me both the letter and the actual 824 list.

It appears that while the letter alludes to selecting more pilots all that is happening is the pilots who previously were awarded the transfer in February thru April of this year were given a class date of July 21.

However, there were an additional 16 pilots selected on June 2.

Here's the letter.

6/05/2015
July Flow-through Announcement
July Flow-Through to American

Please join me in congratulating the following 20 Envoy Captains who have exercised their flow-through rights to American and will be attending AA training in July, following a month when American’s training classes were filled with pilots returning from recall and no new hires could be accommodated. This is not only good news for these Envoy pilots who will begin flying for the world's largest airline, but it is also good for the career progression of Envoy First Officers in line to become Captains.

Since January 2013, Envoy has successfully advanced 481 pilots to American Airlines, based strictly on seniority, with no additional interview requirement. We project that an additional 100 pilots will move to American by year end and we expect approximately the same rate of flow throughout 2016. As a result, a new hire at Envoy today is projected to make Captain at Envoy within 2.5 years and is projected to flow through to American within 6 years of date of hire.

July 21 Class
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.
Capt. Capt.

My thanks to each of you for your dedication and years of service to Envoy. I firmly believe we have the finest pilots in the industry and I’m proud to have the opportunity to serve alongside you all!

Capt. Rxx Wxxxxx
VP, Flight Operations

His problem is, he thinks he's smarter than everyone else. His comments all stem from his belief that every pilot at Envoy is just a gullible sap that he needs to talk down to, and set straight. He was stuck at eagle for far longer than he hoped, and if ANYONE shows any hope or optimism that it may work out better for them, he tries to shoot them down immediately. You're right, for someone who got to AA from Eagle via the flowthrough, you'd think he'd be a little more humble or have something a little more positive to say.
EXACTLY.

Yeah, I thought it was weird too how he sounds EXACTLY like, writes exactly like, shotgun replies exactly like, uses the same phrases, analogies, and even uses the exact same smilies as Thrustlever on EL.
