Me too.
It's been quiet on this thread for a week or so and even though two of the usual suspects did their best to put some excitement back in by the typical unprovoked personal shots on their favorite target, it hasn't jump started much.
I'm sure they'll redouble their efforts and we'll have the expected result that everyone loves so much.

You guys are just sad. Buying into the flow, the 2.5/6 and all that BS CR700 spouts off. He's your new hero I'm sure.

Maybe they need more bodies because many of the current pilots have seen through the bull crap and are bailing. I sure wouldn't attribute it to "growth." Although I'm sure your management will try and find some way to spin that.

Well, in all likelihood they expect increased attrition this Summer (probably along with feeble attraction) and since some will be E-175 pilots, I would assume they want to protect that part of the operation and not end up like RAH or others. Envoy can always park E-145's again if staffing trends worsen in that fleet, but the E-175 flying is certainly more critical and I would expect more pilots per A/C on that fleet.

I find it kinda funny that we have two people who don't even work here anymore so concerned about our future!
Things haven't been great here for the past few years, but good things are finally coming to those of us who have stuck it out. Things will NEVER be perfect here, but it sure as heck is a lot better here then some other regional carriers. On top of that, not having to stress about job fairs, applications, and interviews is priceless...that's another job in itself.
