If you would rather be part of the problem instead of the solution, perhaps you should consider another line of work.

It just opens doors to satellite bases in other cities like LIT, XNA, etc. Thanks, but no thanks.

Let's see, be part of the problem (aag) or be part of the solution (match anyone).

At present yes. However keep in mind that AAG has 90 options on additional E-175 aircraft. As the E-145's continue being parked over the course of the next several years, expect to hear something on these options that would be good for Envoy.

Few, if any, of those 90 options can be exercised currently, regardless of how many 145s are retired.

So expressing an opinion that doesn't agree with your stance is being part of the problem. Got it.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing about Parker.

If you actually do work here, I would be very careful about the negative comments you make regarding the company on a public forum.

The "problem" has been the airlines complete lack of interest in negotiating to bring reserve rules into the FAR 117 era. Currently our RSV rules penalize pilots and are some of the worst in the industry. The pilots have spoken loud and clear, when the airline fixes RSV then we can talk about satellite bases. Until then they deal with the bad online publicity, poor recruiting and bad word of mouth. The ball is in their court and has been for a long time.

You left out the part where the company is the reason the satellite base LOA is stalled. My reps say the company is now refusing to consider the LOA. Care to try again?

And of course, there's the issue of simply opening up a permanent domicile again. But that would be too easy.

Every potential new hire needs to see this comment. This is the punitive, threatening, and hostile attitude of management that you will be subjected to should you choose to work at envoy, or one of the other WO'ed.
