You really think they will just keep flowing full speed when they cant even hire for attrition? If you think they will I have a goose to sell you too.... |
Envoy Flow #'s
Look at all these envoy experts popping out of the woodwork. One doesn't work for envoy, the other claims to have just been hired into the 175.
That's ridiculous. The only thing that you've gotten right is that the flow is contractually going to slow, and you didn't even get it right because you know the contract. You got it right out of ignorance because you're throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks. A senior captain told you? I bet you could find senior captains that will tell you that we're getting stapled to AA's seniority list with DOH, we're merging with JetBlue, RAH is buying us, or that we're opening a satellite base on the ISS. |
AA needs the pilots. If they don't flow, then the guy who was going to flow leaves for a non-AA carrier, and the prospective new hire to fill that guy's spot also goes to a non-AA carrier, as he sees the flow not working.
If AA wants to fly their current passengers, they need their current pilots. If they don't flow, their passengers won't fly on AA, because they'll be flying on the other carrier's aircraft, crewed by the AA guys who left. PILOT SHORTAGE. It's happening. |

Not like they have never honored a contract before.......

Changes have already been made, positive changes. A reasonable person would assume that recent and current trends are a better indicator of future actions than a complete 180 from those current trends. |

So far, I'm not particularly impressed with any of the AA flows. It seems for those hiring on now here or at PSA or Piedmont, so many things could happen over the ensuing years to bank on anything.

There was a more detailed chart up there prior to this, but this is what's on Envoy's APC Profile:

This is the perfect example of a pilot that is already on property screwing the new pilots, and the pilots of the future.
This is a flow with a B scale(and a C scale, D scale) Nice job, Envoy! Way to advance the industry. Actually the 824 and protected pilot agreements were awarded in arbitration years ago. The pilots hired after 2011 had no flow until the last contract was signed in 2014. As one of those pilots, I'm very glad they negotiated for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
