If you are dead set on the 175 go work somewhere that only has those.
If that's not an option, live in base and do reserve every other month. You will slow down your flight time accrual and still continue to collect seniority. Word of caution once you hit 800 hours the company will assign you flying and force you to fly on reserve.

There is a file listing everyone's vacation accumulation as of 30 October - is that VC showing there?
Being a pilot hired early October (iirc all 145 class cadet?) you'll get maybe two days of vacation next year per the contract and loa. Other vacay time from before being a pilot is between you and hr.

-You do not have any accrued vacation time. This could be for contractual reasons with the cadet program or regular vacation usage, or through an error (i.e. they didn't transfer your cadet vc time properly.) To check how much vacation time the company thinks you have check this list: https://my.envoyair.com/wp-content/u...me-31Oct18.pdf
-You did not have enough seniority to hold any of the vacation weeks you bid for.
-You misbid. The vacation bidding guide can be found here: https://my.envoyair.com/wp-content/u...w-accruals.pdf
-The vacation planner screwed up your bid somehow. The email for the vacation planner can be found under the vacation section of this website: https://my.envoyair.com/index.php/de...crew-bid-info/
If you misbid or didn't have enough seniority there is a secondary vacation bid that closes on the 27th. The available weeks are show here: https://my.envoyair.com/wp-content/u...-VC-Blocks.pdf I highly suggest you read the bidding guide carefully as your vacation will be randomly assigned after the secondary bid if it has not already been awarded.

The plane you fly as a FO has absolutely NO impact on the plane you fly as a CA. None zip zilch nada. The idea we are still going to be forcing upgrades in 18-24 months is crazy. And even if it does happen the guy a few post up explained it perfectly. No seat lock on forced upgrades so you are free to bid whatever you want and you can get the 175 as fast as you can hold it for your seniority.
