Anytime you have a confirmed sign in for the next day you are released when you confirm your trip. Once you call AVRS to confirm you are released from your RAP.

Look at the QnA part of the reserve contract. It clearly states you are released once you confirm your trip or stand by assignment.

Just want to point out if not clear, this is released from a RAP. Not released from Standby.

If anyone has any confusion on this, read the contract and give it some thought. This one is pretty clear. And it's a very useful thing to know if you're on reserve.

This does NOT apply if tomorrow's assignment is a RAP.

This is spelled out in the plane language part of the contract. CS may not realize you have confirmed via AVRS and try to call you and then try to tag you with a missed assignment. I would not bother answering their call. This is a pretty black and white case for getting a MA removed.
This is absolutely correct. If you call and confirm an airport standby shift or a flight assignment, you are automatically released from your current RAP assignment.

Can anyone clarify whether relief or composite lines are built on one’s schedule prior to the 48 hour ATTOT window, allowing one to trade or are they (RLF/COMP lines) made afterwards allowing trading on the 31st when ATTOT reopens the last day of the month?

They’re built after the ATTOT window. Usually the next day after ATTOT closes, your schedule will populate.

Another fun trick if your seniority can hold it is to play the RAP1 RAP2 swap. You can create conflicts allowing you to be released early and have more time off. Good times.

Random question

Are we still actively transferring CRJs to PSA or has it stopped for the time being? Also, with every CRJ leaving the fleet, approximately how many lines are reduced due to the reduction of airframe?

I believe there was a fleet plan sent out a few weeks ago in a email from Ric looking forward to next year. Refer to that.
