Better question would be.... why not quit? What would hold someone at this prison?

I get why somebody would quit. But an involuntary displacement where you aren’t seat locked, and are able to upgrade without going to LGA? Can just bid right out. Maybe had something else good in the works, but just seems petty to me.

So apparently everyone in my CRJ upgrade class has resigned, and I found out it’s down to just me. It starts Easter Sunday at 7am. Are they really going to do 1 on 1 training for 4 days? Seems the instructors time could be better spent.
Add to that I am bidding LGA 145 on this next bid running on 4/10, which I will easily hold, and several people have told me I’ll be pulled off the CRJ because I will not have started any A/C specific training yet (the bid runs during my 10 days off for CBTs).
Has anything like this happened to anyone? Or can anybody clarify how the bid affects someone in training. It just seems like a waste of everyone’s time and money. Especially since I am not seat locked (invol displacement) and am preferencing for what seems to be the least desirable position with the company.
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

So, bad schedules, hostile management (look at the thread that was closed), shrinking fleet, blatant disregard of contract, and arbitration.
We will only have 175's, and we will be a lot smaller.
Normal schedules are 4 on 2 off with
76hrs credit(76 was the highest avg)and 12.9 days off(put out by the union)

Yes, just change the base in the request.

I trip traded a couple of 4 day trips to trip with other 4 day trips which shifted the days worked to one day later. This changed my DFP days but my schedule does not reflect the corresponding DFP shift. This happened to me last month and it affected me not being able to pick up OT since 8 DFP's were listed when I actually had 11 days off. Called CS last month with this issue but the person was not helpful. How do I get these off days coded properly.
