Did you loose something too? I left something there on a through flight a couple of years ago. I can’t believe they threw it out without saying anything!

Question for the contract Gods....
For recurrent, is a travel day on between ground and sims considered a day off? How about Saturday if I have a super late night sim?
If no... I say no....
I'm down to 10 or 9 days off. How do I go about getting a days worth of flying removed to take it up to 11? Swaps and drops??? Phone? Email RF100 yo mama so fat????

50% of all new hire training slots, no fewer than 25 per month (subject to the 50%)....
The TA Language says this:
“Protected Pilots” Hired By Envoy On or Before October 11, 2011 The provisions of Letters 12-02, 12-03 and 12-04 (“Protected Pilots”) shall remain in full force and effect and will be enhanced by the language below:
Upon delivery of the 40th EMB-175 as set forth in Appendix D, and assuming there are still pilots who were added to the Envoy master seniority list on or before October 11, 2011 who have not yet been offered a flow through opportunity, 50% of all AA new hire training slots, no fewer than 25 per month (subject to the 50%), shall go to such Envoy pilots, until the point in time when the next pilot on the Envoy master seniority list to be offered a flow through opportunity was hired after October 11, 2011.

It says:

Don't see anything in there about whichever is less..... I see how you could think that, but I read it as you are entitled to 50% of all new hire slots; the rest just describes how they go about it.

Stop and think how your statement would be implemented.
If AA hired 26 in a month, Envoy would be entitled to 25 of the 26 slots. That would make it impossible to fulfill contractually required flows from PSA and Piedmont.
If AA hired 200 in a month (realistically possible at maximum retirements), Envoy would be entitled to 100 of the 200 slots. That would be equal to hiring half of Envoy’s total pilots in a single year. That would not be a sustainable operation in Envoy.
Both cases illustrate your interpretation is not what AA would contractually agree to.
I agree it is bad wording, kind of like you don’t not like to avoid double negatives.

So you see American hiring 2400 in a year? For what, like a year? Anyway yes it would be very expensive to have that much turnover. It’s a negotiated document. What does dacuj say? ITS CONTRACTUAL. Lol
