I remember the reserve LOA that was laughed out of existance last fall having a provision for this. I don’t remember anyone saying it was already in the contract.

Only thing in the contract is 12.E.5.i
It permits open time being awarded to low time pilots not displacements.

Periodically senior guys at the top of the FO reserve list show up as needing consolidation. What’s that about? Pretty sure they aren’t new to the jet.

Probably have been out for an extended medical. They need long term training so can bid what they can hold.
