Yup and 2007 hires are sitting in upgrade right now big guy. I don’t blame them from complaining one bit, clearly now they have become the acquiring carrier.

I don’t want to hear a 1980’s hire moan cause they could have made a better choice to move on before I went to grade school.

The best thing a prospective pilot can do is stay away from XJT, hastening the cannibalism thus hopefully forcing Skywest/United to step in and do the right thing whatever that is. Prospective XJT pilots, be merciful to current XJT pilots; stay away for your own safety, and pray for their survival!

List integration wasn't fair? ..and then, somebody had the balls on the CRJ side to grieve your windfall wasn't enough. Enjoy the right seat buddy. You're MEC earned that for you during negotiations... when they refused to negotiate.

ASA MEC did not consult the pilot group about the grievance. I'd put real money down that 90% of the group had no idea it was even happening. I sure as hell didn't. I've got more important things to worry about. As for the merger, both sides F'd it up. We were exclusive and XJT was arrogant. And yes, we all know how Tony Cornhoser deserves to be hanged for his crimes so....it is what it is. ALPA has let us down once again. No surprise.

I'll start earning Capt pay in May and will be out in Sept. I'll take it in the chin until then. I'm used to it.

Hmm. There is no “grievance process” for seniority list integration. Only a dispute resolution process and that has to do with where you are on the list.
