I know United’s MEC wants to bring 76 seaters back in-house (including RAH and SKW flying). It would be interesting if United buys Xjet and then starts bringing that flying back in-house. Since the 76 seaters would come back in-house as they come off contract with regionals, it would be a slow transition. Maybe, this is part of the discussions if United has serious interest to buy Xjet.

Been pretty quiet. If something actually is going on (50/50), they're doing a fantastic job of being tight lipped about it.

Had an DFW XJT maintenance guy drop the "United bought us" line if it's worth anything.

I don’t see Inc selling UAL the rope to be used to hang them.

I was expecting some kind of announcement, given the special meeting in Rosemont Wednesday. Since it will adversely impact someone’s stock, it will come after the bell today (Friday). I’m not staying up for it.

Was any indication given on the topic of the meeting on that email? I.e, could it be something unrelated to the rumors?

United's MEC also wants to keep it all in house.

The “meeting” is a “Special Session Meeting” at the UA MEC offices in Chicago. It’s probably nothing, but it’s Weds-Fri this week. Nothing has been said of what the topic of discussion is, but it’s definitely interesting that the meeting is being held there, and not the XJT MEC offices in our largest base, IAH.

Pipe dream. Scope choke is working for the moment, as is. We’d all like to be doing the 76 seat flying, but I highly doubt that’ll happen. If anything a NSNB order will allow the company some extra 76 seat flying. Heck, the company has already violated our scope language this year.

I don’t think Skyw would sell xjt to Ual so Ual could transfer flying away from skyw.
