Lets be realistic. Nobody in their right mind would stay here for a 175 over a legacy or even an LCC job offer, especially with all their new contracts. For the longest time attrition has kept steady pace with the a/c leaving the fleet. Now, the crew planning numbers have finally intersected with current staffing and we still have a speeding freight train worth of attrition.

I don’t think they anticipated the K4 carnage. Many of us might have stayed at ExpressJet with a future and a potential to go to UAL. But the uncertainty and being jerked around just got to be too much. Most of us will be commuting anyway, might as well get Home basing with no pay cut.

No, you troll. All airlines require fleet renewal to have a future. Without it you’re dead. Pilots outlive aircraft.

Not specific to K4, but that carnage has been going on for the ERJ side for probably 2+ years BEFORE the CPP carrot was dangled. Granted, the CPP may have slowed that down.

But the pain you feel of domiciles closing/commuting and being jerked around has been the norm for the ERJ for almost a decade now.

I can’t remeber exactly, but there were times where L-XJT lost 70-80 pilots a month, and little of half being FO’s.

Anyone want to place bets on whether or not we are offered a flow?

If what happens, the 25 E175SC’s or United buys Xjet or with the new contract. If United buys Xjet, I would expect a flow.

Fellow XJT'rs, this guy Calmwinds likes to post that we are a "pathetic" airline with pilots that are "jealous" of Mesa. Please don't feed this troll with responses. Calmwinds, we really don't care anymore what you think. Your comment to me in another post was that you only post facts. Almost all you post is speculation. Again we all need to ignore this tool.

I mostly post facts on the Mesa forum - such as upgrade times and time to get from doh to IOE and the number of pilots we have in each position. And, I don’t post anything negative about another regional on their forum.

You, on the other hand, spend lots of your time over on our forum trashing Mesa.

I do suspect that the Fortune article regarding United buying Xjet is not without some credible source. I hope for the Xjet pilots that the 25 Ejets come Xjets’ way and have speculated about this long before the
Xjet union mentioned anything. So, I do speculate good things are coming Xjet’s way. And, I can’t imagine United agreeing to a flow without purchasing Xjet.

So you know INC. is willing to sell?

I would assume their main goal of dismantling their largest competitor (at the time) has been accomplished.
