The irony is ASA developed the 175 program and then Skywest used what ASA developed.

I highly doubt that is true.

Yep, and OO has zero reason or incentive to place the 175 with XJT. None. They would have already done it and/or tied your next TA to growth if they had any desire to place a new fleet type with XJT.

OO has systemically dismantled a once proud airline and its borderline criminal what they've done in a very shameless manner.

Wake up. Inc. will not sell XJT, they are going to keep 'winning' every CPA until nothing is left for our employees.

Or they just give them to OO and don't have to do any of that. The airframes can start making money as soon as they are on property. All the paperwork is done? yeah I'm sure you know what taking on a new airframe entails.

I do actually.... But im saying all the leg work is done.(sop, training syllabus ect). SkyWest even helped QX at Alaska’s request..

But in the end.. your right. Who are we kidding. It’s all smoke and mirrors..

What about the millions of dollars needed for tooling to maintain these aircraft? Big enough hangers? How much money is needed for spare parts on hand? How long would it take to train Pilots, FA's and MX? Where would SIM time come from? It's spoken for. Yeah OO may have helped QX but OO didn't foot the bill to do it..

Embraer runs the parts programs, many of the parts are pooled. All aircraft deliveries come with SIM provided by the manufacturer up to the point of staffing the initial delivery. Also the FAA is close to allowing carriers return to the practice of using 190 sims and a difference training, that should ease a good deal of the pressure on 170 sim. 6 weeks to train a class of FAs, 8 weeks to train a class of mechs, 90 days to train a class of pilots.

Probably the largest valid point you posted was tooling, it would be one of the only expenses unique to the launch of an airframe. The rest are all incidental to new deliveries, whether you already fly them or not.
