Straight from the training department mouth, we developed a 175 syllabus years ago, and in the past have been asked to ramp it up half a dozen times.

IMO that means we would already be set to train.

SKYW has proven time and time again that their intention is to completely wipe ExpressJet out. At every pivotal "fork in the road" where "something good can happen" for ExpressJet it has always turned out that the opposite happens and SkyWest somehow benefits.
Thank you anyway captain douchebag for the career advice.

you bash someone for speaking the truth... ok

i felt like the most optimistic person at XJT most days... always hoping things were going to get better and the place would turn around. those days are long gone. I was lucky enough to make it out after 4 different interviews. Im really pulling for everyone there. God knows I could still be there right now.

It’s always funny how everyone is an aviation know-it-all. Glad you made it out. Don’t crap on the guys still trying to make this a better place.

“The truth”. NO ONE knows what the future holds. There’s still plenty of reason to be optimistic. Now, if the contract isn’t here to vote on by Sept 1 or if those 175’s go elsewhere, then we have something to worry about.

The truth is we all know what the past has held. W had so many pivotal chances where only hind sight told us we had something to worry about.

Congrats on you for staying positive, but you must be aware positive people at xjt are an endangered species.

C’mon. When was there ever a chance for anything like 175s.

I think I’m reiterating someone here but let’s focus on what’s in front of us.

You have to be kidding me. SGU has all the infrastructure to make this happen. ExpressJet buys services from SkyWest and vice versa all the time. ExpressJet would have minimal investment. Although, I don’t think SGU will do it unless forced somehow.

“Copy and past”. Or excel change SkyWest = Expressjet... just the FAA certificate and proving runs... All the paperwork is done.
