As much as I hate SkyWest their pilots are not scabs.

Technically true, its a matter of opinion, until one of their competitors execute a strike. Regardless, the whole company is an infection draining the life out of the regionals.

It’s not a matter of opinion. A scab is one who crossed a picket line and nothing else. A person can be a jerk, completely lacking any desireable qualities, or anything else, but without actually crossing a picket line they’re not a scab.

LASA Groups grievance

Scabs or not, looks like some would like to be part of the “real” SKW team; as opposed to the failed imitation.

We will see where that goes. Not sure I’d take except maybe to spite CC. But it gives pilots options and may force the hand of Inc to prevent any LASA pilots from infecting their pilot group.

Good thing these 175s are owned by UAL and will go where UAL wants them, not skywest.

SkyWest likes to own their airplanes. Sounds to me like they’re going to Mesa in IAD to replace those 700s but who knows.

Mesa doesn’t have 25 700’s, only 20. GoJet does have 25 and their birds in ORD and DEN seem to be the easiest to fit the narrative. However, all 45 aircraft have their CPA up for renewal. What was the rumor of the number of 700’s that ExpressJet would get?

They can also just spread them out and park 25 -700’s. One carrier could park also 25 jets but it doesn’t mean that they will see a single 175. That’s one of the bad parts about flying for a subcontractor. You may or may not own the metal, but you’re totally dependent on a parent company to give you routes to operate them.
